For months I had been looking for my “dream boat”, a Chris Craft Capri 21, of which only 163 were produced. After missing out on two very nice boats in Oklahoma and Florida, I finally found the perfect one; the only problem was that it was half a world away in Denmark. Because it was exactly what I was looking for I decided to inquire about it, but I did not think it would be practical or possible to purchase a boat from so far away. The more I learned about the boat the more interested I became. I knew I needed to inspect it, but the time and cost to travel to Denmark from the US were prohibitive. It was then that I was introduced to Lars Olsen. After examining his credentials and discussing my situation with him, he agreed to perform a marine survey for me.
Once I reviewed his findings, I felt comfortable enough to purchase the boat.
